The services we provide :

Reference
advisory services.
Enquiry can be made via telephone, e-mail, fax, post or personal visit
to our resource centre. Experienced professional librarians aim to meet
your information needs by providing a prompt and appropriate response. |

Inter-library-loan (ILL) service
ILL service assists to access materials unavailable in MIA RC collection
through interlibrary cooperation inside country. All MIA RC book loan
members are eligible for the service. All requests must comply with the
Copyright Law. |

A quick and cost effective way of accessing global information from:

It provides access to all collection available in the MIA RC. You can
undertake your own search. |

This site provides information from The New Straits Times Press group of
publications and factfiles on personalities, countries and Malaysian
states. A full-text search if required, will be done by the Librarian
and it is a fee-based service. |

This site provides an authoritative text of Laws of Malaysia;
e-gazette, Istilah Undang-undang. A full-text search if required, will
be done by the Librarian and this is also a fee-based service. |

Wi-fi
services
MIA RC is also equipped with Wi-fi coverage to enable users accessing
the internet using their own laptop. In order to use this service, all
you need to do is to register with the librarian and get your access
ticket. |

and CD ROM
A full-text search, if required, can be done by the Librarian and the
cost of the service is as follows:
Printing from the Internet : RM0.50 per page
Printing from the CD-ROM : RM1.00 per page |

Photocopying Services
For this service, a self-service magnetic card operated photocopying
machine is in use. The magnetic card cost :
- RM 7.00 + Deposit (RM2.00) able to make up to 60 copies
- RM 12.00 + Deposit (RM2.00) able to make up to 120 copies
A deposit of RM2.00 is payable, which will be refunded when the card is
returned.
Guidelines
on Prepaid Photocopying Service
Those who wish to have documents photocopied and delivered to them to pay in
advance (prepaid). Members are required to open a deposit account whereby a sum
of RM50.00 is to be paid upon registration. The rates are:
1. RM 0.20 per page (print and fax)
2. Postal charges – (price upon application)
3. courier charges – (price upon application) |

Selected new titles will be highlighted in the MIA monthly journal,
'Accountant Today' and on MIA's website. |
