Associate Accounting Technician
An applicant may at the time of his application for
admission be admitted as an Associate Accounting
Technician if he has the following qualifications:-

A. |
Holder of a Certificate in Bookkeeping from the following Institutions;- |
|
|
|
- |
Ungku Omar Polytechnic; |
|
- |
Sultan Abdul Hamid Mu'adzam Shah Polytechnic; |
|
- |
Kota Bharu Polytechnic; |
|
- |
Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Polytechnic; |
|
- |
Port Dickson Polytechnic; |
|
- |
Batu Pahat Polytechnic; |
|
- |
Kuching Polytechnic; or |
|
|
B. |
B.
Holder of a Certificate in Computing with Accounting from Kolej Tuanku
Abdul Rahman; or |
|
C. |
Holder of a Certificate in Accounting with Business Computing from Kolej
Tuanku Abdul Rahman; or |
|
D. |
Passed the final examinations of one of the following:-
|
- |
Government Bookkeepers Examination; |
|
- |
Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia with two (2) principal passes including
Accounting or equivalent as determined by Council; |
|
- |
Malaysian Certificate of Commerce (Higher State) or equivalent as
determined by Council; |
|
- |
London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Diploma in Accounting or
equivalent as determined by Council; |
|
- |
London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Diploma in Cost Accounting or
equivalent as determined by Council; |
|
- |
Associate Examining Board with two 'A' levels including Accounting; |
|
- |
General Certificate of Education with two 'A' levels including
Accounting; or |
|
|
E. |
Be a member of the Association of Accounting
Technicians, United Kingdom (at MAAA level) |
Have passed such other examinations and fulfil such
requirements as may be determined by the Council
including the practical experience.
